The middle school population has grown significantly throughout the last few years, and shows no signs of slowing down. In January 2015, Jeff was brought on as our Program Coordinator, and works closely with Jess to implement daily programming in each our five core areas.
During the 2014-2015 school year, Jeff was the advisor for our 5th grade character and leadership group, Gem Club, and won the state wide recycling challenge in his first year! In the fall of 2015, Jeff was appointed as BGCR's Torch Club Advisor. As Torch Club Advisor, Jeff works with our Middle School Students on a daily basis to plan and implement projects and events in four core areas: Service to the Club, Service to the Community, Education and Social Recreation. In his first year as advisor, Jeff was nominated by his members for the Torch Club Advisor of Year award. Jeff has been a great addition to the team, and constantly engages the middle school crew in unique activities that satisfy their emotional & intellectual needs. The Middle School Coffee House and "Jeff-ardy" are the crew's favorite programs.
In his first summer, Jeff was head counselor for Group Three, the summer camp’s second largest group in 2012. Since that time, Jeff was promoted to Group Two Director and was responsible for the daily operations of our Club's largest summer camp group.
