Kristin first joined the Boys & Girls Club of Ridgefield in September 2008 as an intern from Western Connecticut State University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Health Promotion Studies with a concentration in Community Health. After completing her internship, she was hired as a Program Coordinator and quickly became an essential member of the team. In the fall of 2011, she was promoted to Program Director, and in April 2014, she was named Director of Operations. Today, Kristin serves as the Club’s Executive Vice President, helping lead the organization with vision, compassion, and exceptional dedication to youth development.
Each summer, Kristin oversees the planning of the Club’s full daily camp schedule, always bringing new ideas and creative activities to life for members. She designs and coordinates all camp field trips and works closely with staff to ensure every child has a fun, memorable summer experience.
As Executive Vice President, Kristin plays a critical role in resource development, fundraising, and program advancement. She works closely with the executive leadership team to strengthen donor relationships, support major fundraising initiatives, and ensure the long‑term financial health of the Club. Kristin’s creativity and strategic mindset are instrumental in shaping new programming, enhancing existing initiatives, and ensuring that every Club member has access to meaningful, high‑quality opportunities. Her work behind the scenes directly fuels the Club’s ability to grow, innovate, and serve more youth each year.
Kristin has played a major role in implementing Boys & Girls Clubs of America initiatives, including the Club’s Year of Service events. She has served on the Adult Steering Committee for two Northeast Regional Keystone Conferences and two National Keystone Conferences. She also co‑managed the Northeast Regional Torch Club Summit and served as Co‑Manager of the 2013 Northeast Regional Keystone Summit in Danbury, CT. At that Summit, Kristin was honored as the 2013 Northeast Regional Keystone Advisor, an award proudly nominated by her Keystone teens.
A Danbury native, Kristin has dedicated her entire career to working with children. Before joining the Club, she taught preschool in Danbury for seven years and volunteered at several local elementary schools, offering one‑on‑one homework support. Now, as Executive Vice President, she oversees membership activities, staff development, fundraising efforts, and program growth. Her creativity, warmth, and passion are evident in everything she does.
Kristin also contributes her expertise on a national level—she authored an article for Boys & Girls Clubs of America's magazine Connections, offering practical strategies for attracting more teens and strengthening teen programs across the country.
