Dan (also known as Danny) was born in California and moved to Ridgefield at age 9, where he quickly found a second home at the Boys & Girls Club of Ridgefield. What began as afternoons spent in after‑school programs grew into a lifelong passion for youth development. After graduating from Ridgefield High School, Dan attended Southern Connecticut State University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Community Recreation & Youth Development. He then spent four years as the Recreation Supervisor for the Town of Southbury before returning to the Club—first as Program & Community Outreach Manager and now as the Director of Business Administration & Program Services.
During his years growing up at the Club, Dan dove into programs like Torch Club and Keystone Club. As part of Keystone, he contributed to multiple nationally recognized, award‑winning projects and was a member of the team honored as the 2012 National Keystone Club of the Year. In 2013, he was named the Boys & Girls Club of Ridgefield Youth of the Year. These experiences—and seeing the incredible impact the Club had on his own life—ignited his commitment to serving young people.
In his role as Director of Business Administration & Program Services, Dan helps drive the Club forward by overseeing key operational functions, strengthening community partnerships, and supporting the design and growth of high‑quality youth programs. He also plays an active role in resource development and special events, helping ensure the Club continues to thrive and innovate.
Outside the office, Dan brings the same enthusiasm to his personal life. He loves spending time with friends and family, exploring hiking trails, cooking, hitting the gym, and watching sports. And as any of his coworkers can tell you, he’s a die‑hard Chicago Bears and Chicago Cubs fan—win or lose.
