The Boys & Girls Club is excited to bring back our Floor Hockey League for boys and girls in 1st–5th Grade! This fast-paced, high-energy league is all about learning the game, making friends, and having a blast on the floor. Players will be grouped by age and skill level to keep games fun, fair, and competitive. Each week features a mix of learning, teamwork, and plenty of game action in a positive, encouraging environment led by Club staff.

Floor Hockey League: Mondays 4:45PM-6:00PM

Changing Pace! is designed to help you build strength, coordination, and confidence through fun, high energy drills and skill based training. Members will improve speed, agility, balance, reaction time, and overall athletic performance in a supportive and motivating environment. This program is fit for athletes of all levels looking to enhance their game and stay active.

*Changing pace will take place at the BGCR Danbury Clubhouse, located at 12 Boughton Street in Danbury, from 6:30 pm-7:30pm*

Ready to hit a home run this winter? Join us at Grand Slam U, a youth baseball program where young athletes in 2nd through 8th grade get the chance to improve their skills in a constructive, safe environment! To ensure every player is challenged and supported, we offer two levels. Our Intermediate Class, for 2nd–5th Grade focuses on the fundamentals of baseball through high-energy, fun practices. And our Advanced Class, for 6th-8th graders searching for college level feedback to help athletes take the next step in their development.

Grand Slam U will be coached by BGCR Program Coordinator Kyle Platt, Bethel Varsity Baseball Coach, and Salve Regina U Baseball Alum!

Grand Slam U Advanced: Fridays 3:30PM-4:45PM

Our Volleyball Program offers a fun and supportive introduction to the game while building confidence, coordination, and teamwork. Each week, participants focus on a key skill such as serving, passing, setting, or hitting through instruction and hands-on practice. In the second half of the program, members will put their skills to use through organized gameplay that encourages communication, sportsmanship, and teamwork.

All About That Ace: Tuesdays 4:45PM-6:00PM

Science Force at the Boys & Girls Club of Ridgefield is designed for 3rd to 8th graders to explore problem solving through the use of core STEAM principles. Kids will engage in projects that mirror real-world challenges, encouraging critical thinking, imagination, and collaboration. This hands-on program will allow kids to use a variety of materials in teams that challenge their curiosity and creativity. With a focus on the foundations of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math, this program will enable all kids to learn new skills and have fun!

Science Force: Wednesdays 4:45PM-6:00PM

In Sketchy Business, members will learn creative drawing and storytelling skills over the course of 6 weeks. Each meeting our artists and authors will complete activities and challenges that build creative skills like sketching, character creation, cartooning, writing, and storytelling- with workshop time each session to work on their own creation! By the end of the program, each member will have their very own finished book!
