Fanery grew up in Danbury, Connecticut, where her passion for supporting youth and strengthening her community first took root. She graduated from New Milford High School and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Western Connecticut State University. It was during her time at Western that Fanery interned at the Boys & Girls Club of Ridgefield—an experience that sparked a lasting connection to the Club and its mission.
Before returning to the Boys & Girls Club, Fanery served as a Project Director at Danbury Youth Services, supporting young people through social skills development and providing academic and emotional support. She later continued her work at Family & Children’s Aid of Danbury. While these roles expanded her experience and perspective, the Club always felt like home. After three years away, Fanery returned to the Boys & Girls Club of Ridgefield as a full-time professional staff member.
Today, Fanery serves as the Membership and Program Manager for the Danbury Clubhouse, where she plays a key leadership role in building strong programs, supporting staff, and ensuring members and families feel welcomed, supported, and connected from the moment they walk through the door. As a Danbury native, Fanery is deeply proud to help lead this new chapter—bringing meaningful opportunities, consistency, and care to the youth of her hometown.
