Mia grew up in Danbury, CT and earned her diploma from Danbury High School in 2020. She continued her education at Springfield College where she graduated in 2024 with a degree in Applied Exercise Science.
Mia joined the Boys & Girls Club of Ridgefield in 2022 as a Camp Staff Member, where she quickly developed a passion for working with youth. In 2023, she stepped into the role of Age Group Supervisor for the Club’s youngest members, the Mini Rams! Through this experience, Mia gained hands-on leadership skills and a strong foundation in youth engagement and program support and implementation.
Following her graduation from Springfield College, Mia joined the Club’s full-time professional staff in 2024 as a Program Coordinator. In this role, she supports the planning and implementation of daily programs, assists with member services, and helps ensure a safe, engaging, and positive environment for all members.
In addition to her coordinator responsibilities, Mia now serves as a Co-Advisor for BGCR’s Keystone Club, helping teen members develop leadership skills, give back to their community, and prepare for future success.
Mia LOVES being part of the Club family and is passionate about creating meaningful experiences that help members grow in confidence, leadership, and overall wellbeing.
