Tyler began working part-time at the Club in 2024 as a Youth Development Professional. Prior to that, he worked at the Oneonta Boys & Girls Club while attending SUNY Oneonta, where he fell in love with the organization and its mission.
During his part-time role in 2024, Tyler was hired as a Summer Camp Counselor for Group 1 Rhinos. Following the summer camp season, he transitioned into the Program Staff as a Program Coordinator, where he helps run and incorporate engaging activities and programs throughout the rooms.
Tyler also leads the popular program Triple Play, which focuses on empowering members to take charge of their health and wellness. The program encourages youth to plan for their mind, body, and soul while providing opportunities to connect with others throughout the Club.
In January 2025, Tyler took on the responsibility of leading the Character and Leadership program, GEM Club. In this role, he guides 5th-grade members in learning how to prevent bullying and promote recycling throughout the Club.
