Flag Football Tournament Minimize
The Boys & Girls Club of Ridgefield was happy to be the host of the 2nd Annual Statewide Flag Football Tournament!  Boys & Girls Clubs from Greenwich, Bristol, New Rochelle, Stamford, Waterbury, Redding and New Haven joined us for a day mixed of making new friends, seeing old friends and of course, flag football!

The teams played in a in the morning, and then faced off in a single elimination tournament in the afternoon.  In between games, Club members faced off in the gym & game room, and of course found time for lunch!  New Rochelle and Greenwich faced off in the final game, with New Rochelle winning in the end!

Congratulations to New Rochelle! We look forward to hosting this tournament again next year!
Keystone Club Minimize

The Keystone Club was VERY busy this weekend!  On Thursday night, Keystone members Allie Hughes, Duncan Cozens, Triston Philip, Stephanie Liddi and TJ Hughes, were featured on the Marty Heiser show.  They discussed topics such as the Regional and National Conferences, the 2011 National Project "Educate 2 Elevate" and what growing up at the Boys & Girls Club has meant to them.  The biggest topic of conversation - how many nicknames Triston Philip has!  Click here to watch the video of the show.

On Friday night and Saturday during the day, Keystoners sold concessions at the Holiday Stroll.  They were busy making pretzels, s'mores, chestnuts and hot apple cider - and of course singing Christmas Carols.  Thank you to everyone who stopped by to see us - we saw a lot of Club members!  Click here to view pictures of our Keystoners hard at work on patch.com!

We also helped assist with the 2nd Annual Statewide Flag Football Tournament on Saturday afternoon.  Keystoners were busy helping to serve lunch, referee games, coaching teams, and even played quarterback!  The Keystone Club congratulates the New Rochelle team for their first place win, and thanks all of our young Club members who played on our teams.

We finished off the weekend at the Cody Dingee 5K run on Sunday morning!  Keystoners arrived early in the morning to help with registration, created signs for participants to write well wishes for Cody on, created a video tribute for Cody and helped navigate the course.  It was a great morning for Cody, and Keystone was really happy to be a part of it - we wish Cody a speedy recovery!

Upcoming Keystone Events:

-We will be selling s'mores on Thursday afternoon for .50cents!

-We will be hosting the last Pizza & Movie night of 2010 next Saturday December 17 from 7pm to 9pm.  The $10 fee includes pizza and popcorn, and additional snacks will be sold.  We hope to see you there!
